Shadow Sticks x 3!

So I was going through my collection of makeup and thinking I did not have any creamy eyeshadow sticks or eye pencils however you want to refer to them. But to my surprise, I had three! Now two of them are extremely similar in color and one is WAY out there.

Here They are!

First one is the Wet N Wild Idol Eyes Creme Shadow Pencil in 130 Pixie! This shade is a very frosty champagne color. It blends out very nicely and looks great alone or under a champagne shadow for a quick look or along with a little bit darker crease color for a soft pretty eye!

The next one is the Maybelline Cool Effect Cooling Shadow/Liner in 28 Blizzard Brown!
Where to start with this one...the color is beautiful little a darker champagne with a definite glitter to it.
The cooling effect is noticeable but not a long lasting effect while you apply the pencil feels cool :)
Another good thing is, I found this pencil on sale at ULTA for $2.99 from $5.99!
Cons: The product itself does not fit well into the packaging.  Hopefully it will show up in the photo!
This makes the pencil "weak" and tends to break off easy! I don't know if its just mine or if its the way it is made?!

Lastly is the COVERGIRL SMOOTHERS Gel Eye Color in 360 - Neon Pink!
Lets talk about the color first. The color is a mid-tone blue based pink with almost a duo chrome of a purple. Its a nice color for maybe the bottom lash line for a pop of color to bring out blue eyes?!
Cons: It is kind of a dingy color. Its not as bright as I hoped from the lid of the product.
Secondly Im not sure what I expected from a product called "Gel Eye Color" Its not like the others in the fact you can just smooth it on nicely. Its tough and a dry product.  And lastly, which is much more evident in the case is the fact the product just doesn't fit in the packaging?!?! It is DEFINITELY visible in the photo. P.S. it sharpens horribly. =/.

Here is all three side by side no base !

Final Though: I want to try shadow sticks/pencils from other brands to make a statement such as I do not like shadow sticks. These three I currently have are nothing to write home to mom about. Its a great idea the quick simple less mess and fuss shadows, now I want to see them done well :)

Bonne Bell Liplites - UPDATE

So after having these lips glosses for just a few short days, I have decided I am in LOVE with them. They are thick but not sticky at all and the colors that I have are just perfect. Since the last post I went out and purchased another shade in Mocha Mouse. Which is a "your lips but better" mauve color.

Now I don't know if which style of packaging in the newer style but personally I love the top style. Cleaner more adult packaging. The color itself its perfect quick easy grab and go lip color. Its one of those ones you dont need a mirror to apply and it looks great with anything. It does have some sparkles in it but on the lips you can barely tell. It comes off more creme which is what I like best.

From Top to Bottom - VANILLA SWIRL - MOCHA MOUSSE - STRAWBERRY PARFAIT
Here is it in comparison to the two other Liplites I previously purchased. <3
From Top Left to Bottom Right - VANILLA SWIRL - MOCHA MOUSSE - STRAWBERRY PARFAIT

Final Note: I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THESE...THEY ARE AFFORDABLE AND EASY TO WEAR LIP GLOSSES PERFECT FOR ANYONE!

LA Colors 5 Color Palettes x 5!!

First off I want to say that I bought these because of how similar they appear to the ColorMates 5 Color Palettes. And after swatching and using these for a few days....there is no difference. From the packaging to the texture to the pressed design on the top there is no difference. And just like the ColorMates....I LOVE THEM!
They are definitely worth the $1 - $1.50 paid for these!

On to the colors!!

L.A. Colors 5 Color Metallic Eyeshadow - DARLING

L.A. Colors 5 Color Metallic Eyeshadow - AMMUNITION

L.A. Colors 5 Metallic Eyeshadow - LOLLIPOP

L.A. Colors 5 Metallic Eyeshadow - WINE & ROSES

Now this one deserves a little extra talking about. The photos do not do justice to these shades.
Starting from Left to Right - This pale pale purple has a AWESOME duo-chrome of a bright violet!
The second and third shade (in person) are not to much different except for the the third shade being a hue deeper wine shade.
The fourth shade is a nice metallic lilac rose color! Check out the picture I linked! Its from the Dayton Daily News article "Are you Enchanted? Get Lilac Roses" by Jill Kelley!
Last shade is a beautiful amethyst purple!

L.A. Colors 5 Metallic Eyeshadow - WILDFLOWERS
Swatch no base!

The Second best part of these eyeshadow behind the pigmentation and texture is the variety available for such and affordable price. With the economy the way it is, L.A. Colors still offers quality and quantity that is easily accessible!

ColorMates Palettes x 3 From Dollar Tree

I picked these 3 palettes up from my local Dollar Tree on 3 separate trips!
Product Claims:
Professional, Exotic Look Rich, Smooth Blends Easily Long Wearing.

This Colormates Eye Shadow is made from premium quality materials and offers 5 salon formula shades that can be worn separately or blended for a personalized look. This convenient easy to apply, true color make-up is long-wearing for that rich, smooth natural finish.

The first one I picked up was this Neutral Eye one which I accidentally tossed the packaging before I did this post =/. But it has 5 neutral shades that have golden and rosy undertones. They are metallic in finish and very soft and smooth. Pigmentation is awesome. These shades are wonderful for a fast all over lid color for summer!

Swatched with no base!

The Next palette is called "BRIGHT EYES". It has 5 totally different shades with a metallic finish. Pigmentation on this set is a little more sheer but buildable. From Left to Right is: Yellow, Gold, Pink, Blue, and Green. This palette overall in appearance would be a fun spring summer palette.

Swatched with no base!
Last but not least is the one I picked up today called "SEDUCTION". Again a total of 5 shades with a metallic finish. However, in comparison to the other two sets this one seems to have a tad bit more glitter to it. It is a very fine multi-colored glitter. The colors in this palette are recommended for a smokey eye!

Swatched with no base!

Overall these palettes get a two thumbs up! they are quick and easy and quite nice for the price! Soon I will have a review over the L.A. Colors 5 Color Metallic Eyeshadow which are EXTREMELY Similar to these!

Bonne Bell Liplites x2 - First Impressions

Today I purchased 2 of the Bonne Bell Liplites and 2 other Bonne Bell Products. If you would like to see my first impressions of one of the items click here!

The two shades I picked up are top: Vanilla Swirl bottom: Strawberry Parfait

Vanilla Swirl is a very nice Champagne color that has the a very sweet but not over powering smell. Its thick but not sticky and its very nice. Looks great over a nude or neutral lip.
Strawberry Parfait is a light baby pink with very minimal shimmer. It is not noticeable on the lips its a more of a creme appearance. The smell is that of strawberry that reminds me of the Bonne Bell Lip Smackers strawberry scent. Looks awesome on its own for a wash of color or over a neutral lip.
These lip glosses have a doe foot applicator and are "so far" not messy!
Here are very light swatches of both - Top is Strawberry Parfait and Vanilla Swirl on bottom.

Bonne Bell Concealer -Very First Impressions

Today while on a trip to WalMart to look for the Pure Ice Crackle Polish (which I did not find) I ran across a section of Bonne Bell cosmetics. Now as far I knew Bonne Bell was strictly lip products. Little did i know they had face products as well. I picked up 4 products, two of which are lip products. Blog Post coming soon for those =). Tonight I want to talk about the Bonne Bell Concealer. I believe its called the My Style Concealer in the color F - 031 Secret Fair? Here is a link to the WalMart website to show you what is available. It does come in 3 different shades a light a medium and a dark.

Here are the claims of this product.

Okay, so on to my first impressions. As many of us do, I eagerly opened the package in the car, swatched it on my hand, and first swipe...whoa this is thin...I rubbed it in and it disappeared! Right into my skin! I was not expecting much of this at all. Went home thinking about the waste I bought then I gave it another shot. Not as bad as I first thought. It is not as pigmented as say the Boing Concealer but for a light make-up day it would be nice for small blemishes or light discoloration. As it says on the packaging it does dry to a power finish IF and only IF you let it sit for a moment before you blend it out. Here is a picture of how it looks "heavily" swatched and "dried" but not blended out at all.
Final Thought on First Impression - Workable Need to work with it more :) Update in a week or so on This Concealer
